Codes and Standards Applicable to Generator Sets

Course Description: Generator sets are subjected to various international, national, state and local codes and standards. We will be looking into the codes and standards that most commonly affect the design and application of generator sets. The course is free of charge.
Objectives: After this course, you will be able to:
1. Identify verbally the codes and standards that impact generator set application.
2. Explain the NFPA 110 code which influences the design of generator sets.
3. Specify recent changes in the National Electric Code (NEC) that impact generator design and usage.
